Looking for a 3rd gen

Are there any specific issues with the 3rd gens that I should be paying extra attention to while shopping around? I will be looking for a 3.4, 4wd.

Check the rear axle seals, mine were leaking on the brakes when I got it. That led to a pinion bearing failure due to the low level of oil. Check the antifreeze and transmission fluid to make sure the two haven't mixed due to cooler failure. I don't know what state you are in but it goes without saying if you are in a salt belt state to inspect for any rust underneath. My two cents worth...
