Looking for a Double din Headunit

Does anyone know where I can get the factory double din headunit for a 1999 t4r?
The cd player died and the dealer wanted like 1300$ for a new one. or does anyone know of a unit that actually looks good in a 4runner?


I think I am going to put the scion headunit in. But when I had the stock one out I noticed there were two wires for the power antenna and when I unplug one of them the motor ran nonstop and made a bad noise through the speakers. Does the Scion deck have two antenna jacks or how do I sove this problem?

You can try upgrading to a newer Toyota Double DIN headunit. Possibly even the in-dash CD changer. You can find used ones for good prices on ebay.

Just sold my 2001 DD deck for $65 with the amp. You can find a 2006 Scion deck for under $100 on ebay, thats what i got.

I'm not too sure about this, but IIRC the wiring harness for the Double DIN Toyota decks are all the same. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Eclispe makes a DD unit that connects directly to the factory wiring. It has a flip down screen with a CD and DVD slot behind. There are 2 models one with Navigation and one with out.
