Looking for a left running board 97' Limited Edition

Hello,

I'm looking for a left running board for my '97 4Runner Limited 4x4. I bent it yesterday when I did the Los Pinos trail outside of San Diego. It was rated a 5 and I felt that I could do it. I did it, but I think I need a two inch lift because I bent the running board. Not that bad, but bad enought to bug me. If anyone knows or has one, be glad to buy it.

Wow, funny i should find this post.... assuming the "left" running board is the driver side running board, I have one off my 1996 SR5 4runner. I jacked the running board on the passenger side doing some off roading, I ended up removing them, and using the molded fender flairs. I am no expert, but if the limited running boards are compatiable with the sr5, and the years are compatiable, i would be HAPPY to sell the running board to you. I can email you a picture of it. It is chrome and in pretty good condition, I have the bolts (a little bit rusted), and the black plastic trim.
 
Eh, nevermind, I looked at some pictures of the Limited, and it's a totally different running board setup, and none that I saw were chrome.... In any case, anyone looking for a driver side running board for a 3rd gen SR5 ?

yeah man i have a 97 4x4 limited that i actually took off the boards because i dident like the look. id be happy to sell it to you. iv been trying to figure out what to do with them for some time. let me know if you still need it
 
if youre bending the running board offroading, it means you need to remove the running board.

if you lift it, youll just try harder trails and obstacles and do it again.
 
remove it! if that is all you hit, and you didn't bottom out on any rocks or anything, then just remove the boards. i took my drivers side out on an ne4roc run, and took them off. let me tell you...much much nicer! nothing to worry about now.
 
i have a set of silver running boards and black running boards, minor dings on both i believe, not bad, barely there. came of 99 limited (silver) and 2002 sr5 (black)
 
I'm actually looking for running boards for my 96. Mine are severely rusted. Does anyone live in Canada that would like to sell theirs?

Hi everybody this is my first post and I need help. I have a 97 limited with a damaged passenger side running board. Does any one have one available? If I cant get one I was considering getting some chrome tube style. the damage consists of one missing plastic strip (between the board and body) and the board no longer sits completely flush. Tread seperation caused the damage. Thanks and love the site! David
 
Factory 4 Runner Limited Running boards - will 2000 Limited fit onto a 1996 Limited?

Does anyone know if the 2000 4 runner Limited factory running boards would fit a 1996 4 Runner Limited. My drivers side running board (silver) plastic s cracking.

I have limited running boards sitting beside my garage off of a 97. Where you located?

I have a set of the black plastic limited ones in Calgary AB
they are in good shape, I just removed them because i like the look with out them more
