Looking for a Repair Manual 2004 4runner

Anyone know where I could purchase a good manual at a fair price. I have lookde for cd manual, no lock.

I know you can get them online from toyota somewhere by paying a day fee, don't know where. I'd be interested in getting the 2007 one.

You can get a one day subscription to the Toy. Technical Information System and download all the pdf files. Links are on the Toyota.com site.

You may want to check out your local library, too. Mine has the Chilton manuals online, and it's all free. It's Chilton, not an official Toyota shop manual, but what the heck, the price is right.

Thanks. I tried the site out. Pretty good. I wonder if there's some relationship between all these sites, because the information looks like the same format and all.

Too bad it doesn't have a section on getting my brakes to stop squealing. Yes, I've been all over this forum about that, and all over the web, and I've done surgery on my brakes and so on, and they still squeal... but I digress...

Most of the Web sites or CD's you'll find on the Internet are just downloads from TIS (techinfo.toyota.com). Toyota doesn't publish the manual on CD, but many people download the PDF's from TIS and then sell homemade CD's or post them on Web sites.

Go to the bottom and choose Auto Repair. This site is a gold mine... except for the 4th Gen 4runner, they only have '03. I found that though, I assume its close to '07. No way I could figure out to download it... Though I went through the code and found a .mpj link.
