Go for it! Dark colored mid gen refresh sport edition 4th gens are the best looking 4runners ever. I do think 24 is little steep with the mileage maybe you can talk them down to the 19-21 range?

Well its a limited, the book on it is 23K private party GOOD condition. So they are in the ball park already.

Just a very nice color. My fav as well (let's not let my Nautical Ble '06 know I said that! Lol).

It probably is more rare, as anything other than white/silver seem to be more rare.

I have a Shadow Gray 4 Runner

it is 2006 with 102k miles as I am a traveling salesman. It is a Sport Edition and it is in great shape. have all service records. I am selling because I just bought a tacoma.

I bought mine new in 2006 ... and even then it took searching not only at dealerships throughout the SE but also on the boats headed over. Patience is a virtue ... that and a good internet sales guy that went the extra distance to find me exactly what I wanted.

My limited was listed by the dealer as dark grey. SM is a hard color to find it seems.

Took me quite a while to find a 4wd 4runner in San Diego. I ended up w a 2007 limited Grey. I saw a sports edition at Carlsbad toyota back in october but they wanted a lot for 08' w 60K on it ($27K)

I have not had a truck payment in 17 years and I have only made four payments so far on my 2006 SR5 V6 shadow mica runner (76,000 mi). Man I don't like payments but I do really like my beautiful runner!

I have a freshman in College and I have a 16 year old taking her written drivers test tomorrow. I am looking to buy another car soon so I have to say I would sell my runner and try and find perhaps a base Tacoma 4X2 since I still have my old 4x4 full size blazer.

Note the collage freshman earned her car by achieving Governors Scholar (Free Tuition) but not free housing or free books and being a good kid.

The 16 year old is "only" a A/B student but has done more around the house over the years than her older sis and fortunately is also a great kid.

Also I have another kid in 2 years that most likely will deserve a vehicle as well.

GOT IT! Found it in Texas at a Buick dealership, listed as Galactic Gray. I was shocked when we pulled up at the dealership. 71K miles for $21K. $5K less than the dealers charge here in San Diego. $2-3K less that private party. Cost me about $500 to fly to Houston, gas ($1.50 gal cheaper the whole way) and motel (3 nights). Charcoal leather to boot. All I was looking for and more.
Still working on getting the stripe off.
