Looking for Austin or Central TX mechanic

Hi all,

I need some stuff done to my 2001 4Runner 4x4 Limited and it's just more than I have the time/tools/know-how to do myself.

I need the radiator replaced, hoses, possibly thermostat, and any other recommended things that go along with a radiator replacement.

New ignition coils, plugs, and wires.

Have a few other things I want to take care of down the line, so I'm looking for a good reputable shop for a owner/mechanic LTR.

Any recommendations from the forum?

I use Auto 7 Tech on Parmer lane, near mopac.

Also use Rational Auto on Roxie Dr. near 183 N.

Both are Honest, professional, know what they're doing and will do a quality job, neither is 'cheap' but you know what they say, cheap, fast or good, you can only pick two!

Been a few years but I akways used John Long up north. Met him 20 years agi as part of Miata club and used him on my 4Runner.

Are you north or south? If South, I've used both Lawson Auto on 290 west and Lugnuts on S. Menchaca and had good experiences as have others I've pointed there.

Thanks for the great suggestions all. I am in South Austin, and the previous owner actually had some work done at Lawson's right before I bought it and I have those service records.
