Looking for correct speed sensor wire to use for Nav install.

Hi,
I hope someone can help... I'm attempting to install a Pioneer AVIC N1 w/Nav in my 2003 SR5 4Runner. I have been reading other posts, downloaded the wiring diagrams, and to no avail am I able to find the correct Vehicle sensor wire.
Can anyone help?
I am looking at both the ECM L-Y Wire -26 SP2+ and the purple wires at the rear of the lcd display in the dash... Nothing seems to be working??
I would really apreciate the help. By the way, I have been taking snap shots of the install along the way, so I can post intructions, how-to later. If anyones interested....

The link in the post above has a pretty good picture. About the only thing I can add to it is to say you can find that wire without removing the tape -- if your'e patient.

Well after following the steps, I got this thing in.. It's working perfectly. I will have pictures of the install, with a write up later this week. I will post them.
