Looking for factory Navigation unit!

Does anyone know where I can find the best deal on a 2004 factory toyota Navigation head unit??? Is it just plug and play? Does anyone have pictures of a recent install?

This is a good resource for the install process of the head unit. The audio section of this forum will be a better place to find plug/play and compatibility between units.

If you have a JBL system, OEMValue.com has the digital nav (Solara) system available. If you have the regular sound system, eBay is probably your only bet, because you need the analog nav (Camry) system. By digital and analog, it's referring to the nav's output to the JBL amp.

The nav swap is almost straight plug and play. I recall for one of them you need wire in an extra speaker to get audio voice guidance.

Depending on which factory radio you have, you may need to swap the center stack bezel which includes the climate control and trip computer display.

you should skip the factory navi and get an eclipse unit, same plug and play, no cutting wires

so much more functionality than the toyota one, ie dvd playback etc...
