Looking for HU w/NAV for 04 JBL

Haven't posted in a while but have been lurking religiously.

I have a stock 04 Limited with JBL 6 disc and would like to upgrade to something a bit more advanced but still stock-ish looking. I'm spending a lot of time in my car and would like a nice stereo with nav, bluetooth, backup cam. Not so worried about iPod connectivity as long as I can play mp3 discs or straight from usb drives.

I've read up on some of the threads here, so I have a pretty decent idea of the HUs available. If you have any particular caveats or endorsements that you can share I'd appreciate it.

My question is this - how hard would it be to swap on my own? I have 0 specialty tools and about as much knowledge when it comes to wiring in general and stereos in particular.

I know a lot of you guys have tons of exp working with electronic components, so if you have any insight it would be appreciated. My absolute last resort would be taking it to a shop and having them do it. I would feel perfectly comfortable having one of you guys who lives around Central FL do it and be compensate you well for your time. It'd still be cheaper for me and I'd trust you to do a better job anyway.

It is very, very easy to make the swap. I would think almost anyone could do it. I have messed with the stuff before but never installed one myself, I've done two now (both in 4th gens) and it's easy. Also, I have the needed harness and dash kit for sale, see this thread for info. If you'll take the TYTO I'll throw in the dash kit for free.

Stuff I recommend to have for the install:
Wire cutters/crimpers
Soldering iron/solder
Heat shrink tubing
Electric tape
That should be able all you need once you get all the harnesses to do the install.

Connections:
The harness will plug into the OEM one. You'll have four wires (black, red, blue, and yellow) that you'll connect to the same color ones on the harness that plugs into the head unit. If you have steering wheel controls, it will also have two wires (red and black I believe) that connect here as well. You will have two sets of RCAs that plug into the new head unit from the new harness (TYTO-01). The manual will tell you which goes where. The steering wheel control box will have three wires that you need to tap into the factory harness. I have the colors on this, can't remember off the top of my head though. That's basically it, just plugging in some plugs and connecting a few wires. I recommend soldering all connections and then heat shrinking them for best results. I'll post more detailed info/pics when I have more time.
