Looking for input on 16" FJ off road wheels

I have been looking to go up one size in tires after doing fj/spacer lift and I found a set of take off fj off road wheels with the stock 265/75/16 tires and they have 12 miles on them and they are cheaper than just buying a new set of tires but I have the SR5 17" rims now and I'm not sure about going down to a 16" even if it is a good deal. What do you guys think about going down a size would you keep 17's or jump on the combo. BTW the tires that are on the rims are BFG Rugged trails and the rims are the off road pkg not trd. Rugged trails are POS tires. Down size is up to you. You have the smaller brakes so its a non-issue.

^+1 on the Rugged Trails being terrible tires. They used to come stock on the TRD offroad Tacomas and they don't last worth s***. It is weird because they are not as aggressive as the BFG AT's but last literally a minimum of half the miles the AT's will.

I know I had them on a F150 and at 30k they were shot. It is the cheap *** in me that saw 4 new wheels and tires for less than just a set of new tires.
