Do a search on here , there are tons , piles , lots , of posts on lifts .

Next time be more explicit in what your looking for . Maybe you will get better responses.
 
Skip the spacers and go with coilovers you will just do it later anyway and why not save the money and do it once and be done. Talk to Scott at Findlay Toyota in Henderson NV he will get you a full set of ICON's for about 1500.
 
i was looking at lift kit from Readylift.com but i was wondering if anyone new a place that sold something close to it here in Jacksonville,FL..... I really appreciate all the responses and help..
 
Have you tried North Florida Off Road yet? There's also a place in Atlantic Beach, kind of close to the post office......4x4's and more ...I think it's called, kind of near the car wash across from the Post office on A1A (Mayport) Rd.

I saw readylifts on Auto anything.com and I think I'm gonna go w/ an OME (Old Man Emu) kit. Someone on here put up a link to a good price, something like $750 or so for the complete kit. I'm still undecided whether I just want a small bodylift or go all out......so I haven't shopped locally yet.

Maybe someone on here can share some experience w/ that product, but I haven't heard much about them here yet.

If you get any quotes from the local shops for install prices, can you pass them on ? I'm looking for a "budget" lift mostly for bigger tires, and am not at home to shop around. I'll be back in about 10 days, and will stop by the shop at the beach and if this thread is still going, will let you know what they tell me..... Keep us updated.

from what i have heard...Readylift kits stink! they are OVERPRICED and what most installers make you use if you buy from them......NTB...Tirediscounters etc.


I would go cornfed if you go with spacers. I think most everyone here would agree.
 
Readylift is overpriced. Daystar is the best spacer type option for the buck. Wheelersoffroad.com

Search the forum on the differences between the new and old daystar kit to figure out what you want. Also, most users have reported getting more lift than advertised so read up on that.

Since the OP didnt even state his intended usage, I'll play devils advocate and ask you to explain to the group how a $1500 adjustable coil over system with significantly stiffer springs is better than a poly spacer system that is only 10% of that cost. Let us know why a big adjustable nut that compresses the spring to add preload is different than a spacer for someone who probably doesnt need the rebuildable features and lives real far from any desert prerunning offroad areas?
