Looking for long term feedback - Alpharexusa Luxx

Polling all that have had a long run with the Alpharex Luxx... How have they held up and looking for LED life.

I have had the facelift version of the Luxx for two years now and have had no reliability concerns even though I run them full on all the time.

My biggest complaint with the facelift versions is that the DRL light tube is a frosted acrylic material which makes the DRLs washed out and absolutely worthless during the daytime. That’s why I run my headlights on all the time to compensate. The pre-facelift versions appear to be a reflector lense style which shouldn’t get washed out as bad.

I have had the pros (swapped to LED bulbs) in my 2013 for a few months. I think you’re in SoCal, so you can check them out if you want…

Not a huge fan of the output but that’s coming from someone who had retrofits (now broken and too lazy to redo)

I have the pro's with LED's installed for about a year on my '13. Doing great so far, much better light throw and distribution than stock was.

For those with the pro's, which LED bulbs are available to swap?

The Luxx come with LED's but are not repairable when they burn out from what I understand?

I’ve had my alpharexxx novas on since 04/21. I’ve had to replace driver side headlight once and passenger side headlight once. So essentially a new set. Warranty was honored and replaced no charge. Hopefully these will last. :noidea:

Correct, which is why I went with the pros.
