Just wondering if anyone has installed long tube headers in their 5th gen 4Runners and if so how they were liking them? Specifically if they are too loud?
The 4Runner is not a race car and never will be. I did an update with an aftermarket exhaust and had the annoying droning sound. Eventually I gave up and had it fixed but it was an expensive learning experience. The fix still made the 4Runner lose some of the performance increases though but I am also using a tune so the 4Runner is a lot more responsive. All of this is why I'm asking about long tube headers since I don't want to make another expensive mistake.
