Looking for more HP

Hey guys I am a new member and I drive a X-Runner (Tacoma) and I was wondering if I could pickup a couple hints or tricks from ya'll on how to gain more power. This is my first post and since we have the 1 gr 4.0 motor in common thought I'd join.

I think you have an advantage already. TRD has a supercharger available for Tacomas and FJ Cruisers, not for the 4Runner.

Some have removed the hydrocarbon filter behind the normal air filter and say they gotten slightly better mileage and some seat of pants improvements.

If you have the 4.0 1GR motor they do make a Super Charger. I believe the 4Runner has the 4.0 also. And if you are worried about REFLASH?? Don't. I installed mine without reflash. All you need is a piggyback ECU.
