Hello all,
I'm in the market for a replacement beater with more room than my Civic. I really like the 4Runner and will be looking at a new one next year after I refinance my house.
I had an '04 350z that I sold to relieve some debt after buying my house in May and have been driving the Civic since then.
I want to spend less than $5000 if possible and have been looking at some 90-95's in the area. Most were high mileage but I did come across a Red '95 with 130k that I'm very interested in.
They are providing a free car fax and it runs very good. It was initially listed for $5995, then again for $4995 but I was told it's down to $4600 now. I'm thinking more along the lines of $3700-3800. What are your opinions and key things I should look for?
After briefly checking it out, it seemed to be in good shape. No rust, clean leather interior, and idled fine. I read about the head gasket issue but haven't verified with Toyota yet on whether or not this has been fixed.
