Looking for new rubber

hey team
I've searched a bit here however could use a little help
im looking to finally switch my stock tires
most of my driving is on road therefor mpg is a fair concern to me
anny suggestions on rubber??
i would assume to stay with the same size ?
wold going bigger hurt my mpg?
or would a more agressive thread hurt mpg?
once again any suggestions or past experience would be great

Going bigger will hurt MPGs a littel but not much as long as you don't go to an E load range or something like that. I went from the stock 265/70/16 with a C load range tire to my 265/75 Nittos in D load range and it changed by maybe a half a mile a gallon.

If you don't really off road then don't get a tire for it and get something that suits your driving. Maybe the non-Revo Deulers.

Yes but the non-Revo duellers are still a pretty agressive all terrain , I think more aggressive than Revo's are. The revo seem to be nicer road tire's though. reason I say this is I have a set of each in my garage.

What size rim's and tire's do you have now ??

I swapped over to 275/60/17 Toyo Proxes S/T (VERY performance oriented) and since they are a slightly shorter sidewall (giving mildly lower gear ratio) my MPG actually went up a bit.

I even took them out and ran them through the same kind of terrain that I ran through with my stock Dunlops and they did just fine. So...if you dont want to give up anything but get better on road performance+steering feel but still be able to take it off road (light albiet--- i can post a pic of what im talking about) while keeping a M+S rating and a higher UTOG rating than the dunlops..

i cant really give you any idea how they are in the snow as i live in Vegas, and if we do get snow, its not like it sticks.

The Proxes S/T are Mud and Snow rated but I couldnt tell you just how good they are...but if they are just as and more capable than the Dunlops, i have no doubt that they would equal or exceed them here.

lookin into the toyo's
rim size is stock
the only concern is in the snow......the tire has only a 3 out of 5 for snow....and being canadian we do get alot of it here
but i like the idea of going down in size a bit to save fuel (side wall size)
wonder what my other options will be....lookin into that now
that toyo tred is pretty bad ass lookin too
perhaps a little too bad ass for snow
