Not sure which to choose. I have 2011 4runner Limited Black on Black. The ones at the dealership were useless. I found that I can barely get my tip toes on them. Looking for suggestions. Pics of them already installed on the same vehicle would be great! Also would like to fit them on, with mud guards.
Also don't want them hanging real low. I'm thinking possibly... chrome or polished silver oval tube nerfs but not sure if I can use them with the mud gaurds. Can anyone help?

Thanks Johnny.

But I think I'm gonna go with Westin. I'm going with the polished steel platinum ovals. I think they're a more solid company than dee zee. I just hope it keeps a good high polish shine. I really wanted to go with the chrome look but, I feel that it's going to start rusting after one good winter here in NY.

Hey Nash! Thanks for the input! I'm going to designate you, my go-to guy when I need help....NOT! lol. I do like the Light Blue though. Very nice.

Hey Johnny!

I noticed that you listed "stubby". Is that the antenna your referring to? And if so, i'd like to know which one you have and if its as good as the stock antenna the truck came with. I think its pretty dumb that I have a shark fin AND a real long antenna at the same time.

Not tryin to be an @$$, just telling you what someone else would have. If your question was, " hey I searched and ..." then I would have taken the time to help you search. When your first post is something that has come up before many times, and you didn't search, then that is the response you're going to get. The forum gets cluttered up with to many similar threads. This makes finding something more time consuming combing through threads. This is me helping you by telling you that this has been covered. Just spend a moment and search. Again not tryin to be an @$$.

Also look through the picture thread, many pics in there of peoples running boards.

As for Johnny Utah's stubby, he is referring to the antenna--Craven speed.

P.S. Thanks for the compliment on my color choice.

If you want to get the DZ running boards, make sure you ask if they have the mounting brackets in stock. I'm getting close to waiting 2 months, because DZ's machine to make them was busted. I ordered the first week in May and got notification that they should be shipping by tomorrow.

I have a 2011 limited and agree the toyota boards do nothing. I got aries nerf bars from autoanything.com in stainless. I also have husky mud guards.
The bars do not get in the way of the guards. Hope this helps:cheers:
