Looking for new skid bolts

Hey guys, I saw some old threads on this topic, but I thought I might ask for current info. I just removed the skids off of my truck. I am going to paint the frame rails and skids with POR-15. Had two questions for the group:

1. I understand that the stock frame/skid bolts are M8-1.25x25 (or 20?). Where can I find stainless versions of these and the washers? I've seen zinc class 8s, but I can't find stainless.

2. There are some smaller black bolts at the front of the plastic fascia. Anyone know what size those are? They're slightly smaller that the others. Two of them actually broke off on me, which is a PITA.

Looking forward to getting the rig put back together. Appreciate any links or thoughts.

You don't want stainless. Those are about equal to a Grade 2.
McMaster Carr sells bolts with a yellow zinc chromate coating. I have been using them for years on my projects and while they aren't stainless, I haven't had any issues with them rusting. You can get them in 10.9 class which is overkill for a skid plate or 8.8 class which I would use for a skid plate.

Use antiseize. Stainless is too soft and will gall easily.

Bumping this. Changed the oil myself for the first time at 70k since I now have a garage for the first time in years. I had the joy of discovering which bolts the dealership had lost over the years and also broke one of those little valance bolts myself. [emoji35]

So, what are they...?

If you mean the ones that have a 10mm head, they are 6mm I believe.
