I know I have my whole stock setup in my garage someplace. Gives you an idea of the current state of it if I can't find pieces that big. I was gonna look for it to find tophats for someone else here. Would you be interested if it needs to be shipped?

Got front coils still together, new shocks in them. Rear springs, and Ome Comfort rear shocks. PM me if interested in any of it.

If the OP is not interested, I'm in Seattle and I'd love to have them. I'm just about ready to have my rig re-shocked...What would you want for them?

I still have all the front stuff assembled and rear springs from my 98 sitting around. switched to OME and never got around to getting rid of anything...

I have a set of 2000 stock front and rear springs if you are interested. Shipping out of NJ. PM me with an offer.

Just a guess here put are they totalling it and your trying to pull some of your mods off :D ?

Sorry to threadjack rc4 but good to know plenty of peeps so willing to part with their things. Good luck.

So Johnsd, whats the deal with that, if you get totalled out can you just give them all the oe stuff and strip your aftermarket? Do you have to actually reinstall the stuff or can you just throw it in the back. Does that mean they wont account for high dollar mods in settling? Sorry for so many ? But im curious.

I recently had a 2nd gen totalled amd i got hosed cuz nobody told me i could have my stuff back, and quite a bit too that ive since had to replace like sound, security, etc etc.

Im currently without job so im looking at bunches of oe takeoffs and theyre looking like food to me right now but maybe its better to hold on to them?

sorry again for threadjacking rc4 but im guessing youll get sorted out here and i been curious about this for a while, seemed like the right time to ask. Maybe not...

I'm looking to replace my shocks all the way around. I would be interested in some good condition take offs. I'm hoping for shock strut assemblies and rear shocks. :thumb3: shipping to oregon 97701. PM would be great.

Sorry for the highjack

I know a few kids who have done it, and i have grabbed some stuff from friends wrecked cars, but it helps if you know the owner of the shop that the car is sitting at. :D One time we took 18's off a friends wrecked car and replaced it with steelies, also took the suspension too, you just need to replace the part with another one. It's generally better to reinstall the part so that they dont know you took anything, but thats just a tip.

I understand your need. But mine is much greater. If i dont get the parts im looking at losing close to 4grand worth of other parts.

I remember seeing your truck with a bunch of other Tacoma's and 4runners last month at Toyota of Dallas. I pulled in looking for the parts Dept, and someone stated you were having a mini-meet and directed me to this site. I remember seeing that 4runner you had and it was very clean. Anyways, I know that All Import has a 2000-2002 4runner and it had the 2 front struts laying in the back of the vehicle a few weeks ago when I was in there. North Texas Auto Recyclers in Lewisville has a 97-98 4x4 4runner there and I believe it had the rear springs with shocks when I was there last week. I'm not too sure if it has the front struts your needing.
