Looking for one in Kansas

New member here and due to expecting our second child I have decided to sell my truck and start my look for a 4runner. I was wondering if anyone had some tips and maybe some leads on a clean one. I am looking for under 100k and 4wd and around the Kansas area. Hope to learn lots from all of you.

Timing belt should be done around 90,000 and many people do the water pump at the same time.

Check the rear axle seals.

Your probably gonna be looking at a '00 and up.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Also some questions about them. How much is it for timing belt replacment and water pump? Also I have heard that the starters are quite pricey to have replaced on these. And any other common problems. I hope to find one soon but I just want to take my time and find the perfect one.

I haven't heard about starters being a problem with 3rd Gens. Timing belt + water pump will set you back at least $500 if you have someone else do it.

Price looks high on that one.
