Does anyone have any history with Zibart for window tinting? they are closeby, but I dont know much about them other than what they were originally known for - rustproofing... I am in Northern VA, but work in DC- either place would work- recommendations?

Thanks

Fwiw I have Llumar on both my vehicles and it is great. I think the product is more important than the installer.

hey man. I had my tint done by skylinetint.com The place was down in Springfield. They guy was quick and did a really good job. I had the LLumar ATC film put on. I believe i paid right around $310 for my 4runner. The guy quoted me 2.5 to 3 hours, but, i was in and out in about 1.5 hours.

The only thing i would say is make sure the inside of your windows are clean, or make sure he wipes them down really good. The only flaws i see with my tint job are like two tiny specs of dust, i dont notice them and they are tiny. But, if you wipe down your windows or make sure he does, then you will probably be happy

I got 5% black on all of my windows except the front driver and passenger. I got 35% for the front. No windshield tint. I would have gotten 5% all the way around, but i live in Arlington, and they are targeting all sorts of ridiculous things these days(thats another discussion) So i just figured right now i'll stick with the 35% in the front. I'm going to try and move back to Texas in a couple of years and when i do, I'm going to have skyline tint remove the front film and put on 5% before i go down back to TX.

I would definitely recommend my place, just makes sure there isn't dust or dirt on the inside of your window. Also 5% is really really dark, so just know that or get 20%, etc.

When i was searching for tint dealers in NoVA i used google and yelp reviews. Surprisingly there weren't too many places in the area to get tint done. Skyline tint had a couple of good reviews, and a couple of bad reviews. The bad reviews also had replies from the owner asking for the guy to call him so he could make it right. So from that i felt confident that i would be okay. Also, most places have crappy websites. I liked skylinetints' website.

I've never used Zibart, but, if you decide to go that route. Good Luck

if you need anything else or have questions shoot me a PM
