The Wire harness is there for the inverter.
There 2 unused harness' in the dash where the switch would be. There is another wire harness (for the plug?) under the center console (near the DAC switch).
What are the chances of buying all 3 parts and just having it work?

What is the wattage of the stock setup?

Or, I was thinking about putting it in the side storage area in the back. You're right, though -- you don't want that out laying around so a kid could get hurt.SE4runner said:Thanks for the how-to page. I had this setup on my previous car, with 3 amps, etc. However, I think I'm going to let my local car audio installer do the install. It's only $45 labor + parts. Also, the power inverter definitely needs to be put in a custom container/box... unless you like it just hanging on the outside.
I'm gonna post some pics once it's all done.
