loose sest-belts

Does anyone know how to tighten the re-coil on the seat belts?
You-know when you take off your seat belt it just stays there or slowly recoils back and you sometimes shut the door pinching it because it didn't pull up in time.
This is driving my crazy , does any ony know how to restore this to like new?

forgot to mention the loose seatbelts are on '98 Limited

the mechanism is worn out. gonna have to replace. and i would not look for a way to rig it either.

yeah dude... i kow about a week ago i checked into it.... and really didnt help...
1. take it apart and try to clean it.
2. spray some lube in the holes and gears.
3. i ahve tried to swap out left to right and front to back seat belts.... but they are all a little bit diffrent.... so u could ether go to a junk yard and test them or buy a new one.... i really didnt see a change in cleaning my belts but give it a shot!
