Losing coolant regularly, but not leaking?

I had the same issue with mine. I changed out the radiator cap and issue solved. Levels have stayed normal and reservoir is not losing coolant anymore.

I'm definitely replacing the cap, given that it is so cheap, but I'm guessing there is more to my issue that just that because the pressure doesn't hold on the system.

I was unable to check the cap, despite the kit supposedly being able to do so. They may have forgotten to give me that adapter.

But yeah, if there is a slight leak, plus the cap isn't working perfectly- double whammy.

i had a leak, check the drivers side bottom of the rad (engine side). When I took mine out, it was all red/pink. No puddles where it was parked. I only noticed this when the reservoir tank would never stay full. I thought it was an HG issue (no visible leaks). Anyway, good luck

This.... pull the plastic cover off the radiator area, loosen the fan housing
/cover and look down between the radiator and the ac condenser, and also the back side of the radiator on the drivers side.

You’ll probably see a pink crusty stuff along the side tank, front or back. Use a bright light, it’s usually toward bottom.

If it’s leaking you’ll need to replace the radiator, which is fairly low day, just messy. I tried a few aftermarket units, but he leaked or were mismanufacturered. Went with an OE unit, been good for 6 years.
