losing sign in

XP here. I keep having to sign in, it is not holding my user name. Or if I sign in, and go to a thread and back out, the user name is blank again. Is anything happening to you guys like this?? IE7 . thanks.

I use IE8 at work and it's fine.

finally figured it out, I was using a 'cache cleaner ' of AOL. (I lost half my MB slots, down to 1 GB MB--slow machine now.) So I was trying to clean thing sout more often. THAT was messing things up. Too bad when I mentioned the same problem on Toyota120, there 'Banned me for life'. can't get to the site to even ask why. life.
