Loss of power

This is the second time I have changed the oil in my 2008 4runner and now I have a loss of power mainly in the low rpm's,the first time I had the problem I ran a half a bottle of seafoam thru a vacuum line and half in the fuel tank and the problem went away,this time it didn't work not sure what the problem is I'm going to the dealership on Monday,so if anyone has had this problem or might know what it is please help.

I never get a check engine light and the temp gauge is normal.

It's a 2008 4runner sr5 4.0 v6 with 66,533 miles on it.

You due for driveline lube? Have all differentials, drive shafts and U-joint lubed. If you take it in somewhere, many shops do not realize there are zerk fittings. You have to insist they do so....

My 2008 V6 is real sluggish when cold. I think it is the E10 gas in some areas as I just drove it 3000 miles to FL and back from Ohio and depending what state I stopped in an gassed up my performance changed. Now a week later and a tankful of Ohio Shell E10 87 octane and it is sluggish this morning (16F). Once it warmed up completely it seems fine.

Some guys claim cleaning the MAF sensor helps but I am not sure. I think it is the ethanol.

BTW, 2008 4L V6 40,000 miles, synthetic oil every 5k, new air filters every 20k, new spark plugs at 30k, redline SI-1 fuel system cleaner every 15k. Driveline lubed every 15k.

well i ran seafoam in the motor again and now its back to normal,but im still gonna go to the dealer next Monday so they can figure it out

Did you change your spark plugs at 30k and 60k? That is required for the emissions warranty.

Ya I changed the spark plugs I drove it today and the problem came back,now that I think about it I never changed the rear dif yet would that cause this problem

I have the same problem with every oil change. I have a 2006 SR5 V6 same engine as yours I believe. Did your dealer have a solution? I've taken it in before but they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it.

Diff fluids aren't going to cause a lack of power.
Dirty maf, wrong plugs, etc could, as could bad fuel.
