Wow, you weren't kidding. I would start by jamming your ear up there to find out exactly what is causing that noise. That's very pronounced.

I can't, the frequency is so high I can't tell where it's coming from. It just bounces around.

I know this sounds weird, but could you put a paper towel tube over your ear in an attempt to localize or aim the sound? This way you could see which direction it's coming from. You could also pull fuses one by one until the noise goes away, in order to narrow down it's location.

Found it! (Thanks) it's the thing right above the brake pedal. Also the VSC, TRAC, ABS, and BRAKE lights all just came on...

Are you referring to the VSC computer? Have you tried D/C'ing the battery for at least 2 hours? You might also try see if anything got dislodged or disturbed while you were running wires through the firewall.

I'll try it and nope nothing is dislodged. No running anything through the fire wall. I just tried to back it up and I have no brakes.

Breaking news!!! (literally) So I found some wires in front of the battery that lead to the ABS module in the engine compartment and it seems that 3 or 4 wires have been broken (don't ask me how, idk). So what would be the best way to go about fixing this? All new wires (really tedious to do and i couldn't do it before school in the morning) or just crimp them together? If crimp any suggestions on things to crimp them with? The wires are tiny like telephone wire.

Off to Autozone (or your local equivelent), get crimps for 18-22g, heat shrink multi pack, and get a wire stripper. Super easy fix, and you might even consider putting a heavy duty wire loom on to protect the repairs. This is what I use, worth every penny.

At least we know that there is a built in "your brakes don't work" alarm haha thanks for all your help!

I am having this same issue on mine right now but it is only present between 50 and 70 mph and seems to go up in pitch as I get past 55. Was this also present with your issue? And how did you locate it while driving the vehicle?
