my truck has been leaking quite a bit of oil lately. i keep oil in it to make sure it doesnt run out but tonight when i drove maybe 500ft there was a loud pop and the engine started making a loud knocking/clicking noise. ive never heard a engine sound like this how loud it is. did i blow a valve or a rod? it still starts but is so loud and i know its not good to run it. anyone know what this could be?
its a 90 4runner. it still starts but is very very loud knocking noise. oil has been leaking onto the exhaust and it didnt stall when this happened. i cant check it now since its 1am but i will in the morning. any suggestions?
