It is my first time here as my 4 Runner rarely lets me down. I have a 2000, 4 cyl., 4 Runner and I hear a loud squealing noise when the vehicle is in motion, so I think it might be linked to the drive belt. This is the 3rd winter that I have owned it and I only have this problem when it's cold. Someone told me that it is the serpentine belt, but my local dealer says it's fine. It is extremely annoying and I would love to remedy it. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and what you've done. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
