Ok, i bought my 4runner cheap of my uncle to get it out of his driveway and i knew it had motor problems and sum other things and i plan to repair this truck and mod it some!
So with the motor, the moment you turn it on, theres a loud constant tinging/ticking noise that comes from around the Intake Manifold area. When you press the gas it, the sound speeds up and when u let off it goes back to the origional speed of tinging/ticking. A friend sed it could be a piston, or a push rod, or even the cam? I havnt taken off the manifold or messed much with the motor cuz i know some bout motors but not enuff to wanna possible mess something up.
I am going up to a local auto shop soon to get it fixed and I was wondering what you guys think it could possibly be?? Thanks
