I have searched and read and read till my heads about to pop.

3" bilstein/toytec lift stock wheels and ucas

Whats the largest diameter and width tire I can fit without UCAS and WHEEL spacers.

Prefer duratracs.

Either 275/70/17 or 275/65/18 depending on your wheel size (overall tire size is the same). Not many tires available in that size for a 17" wheel, 255/75/17 and 265/70/17 are the more common sizes.

17" wheel. I always leave out the important details. I was leaning towards 265/70/17 duratracs. Specs show 31.7 Dia 10.7 Witth. That would get me 1" larger diameter than stock.

275/70/17 bfg at shows 32.2 dia and 11 width. Will that clear stock UCA with no spacers?

I had that exact tire on mine without spacers for a few days and no UCA rubbing, and I tested it with lock-to-lock, reverse, and speed bump steering. :nerd: I think it's when you get into 285 territory that you get UCA rubbing issues.

In your sig I notice you now run spidertrax. What was your reason for adding spacers?

Aside from solving clearance issues, wheel spacers push the stock wheels out far enough to "fill out" the wheel wells, widen the stance and give the truck a subtle yet very noticeable more aggressive look.

I'd pony up for some spacers and go 285s. I ran mine with the toytec ultimate, 287-70-17s, and either 1.5" or 2.0" (cant remember) AllPro wheel spacers for a while. Had no UCA rubbing issues. Had to trim the piss outta the fender liners though. Only reason I stopped using wheel spacers was because I put on aftermarket wheels, then upgrade the UCAs after the fact.

275/70/17s will clear, but not by much.

What was your reason for adding spacers?

Edmund nailed it - I just think it looks waaaaaay better when you're running a stock wheel to push em out a bit and fill in the wheel wells.

I understand the spidertrax have been problem free for the majority but I want to tow things also and not have the spacer constantly on my mind. I have the worst luck.

I rather have the mud performance of the duratrac but if I can fit 275/70/17 bfg with no spacers I would rather go with them.
