Love this truck

Hate the seats, but love this truck. Noticed that toyota doesnt seem to offer the rear air suspension on the 08's, at least not on the web site. Anyone know why?

Right there with ya brother....I am only 100 km in on my 08, and I have to tell ya...I am so impressed with the refined driving experience that this thing delivers....I mean there is only 100km on the clock and I realize this could change with rattles etc but so far it just blows my mind that a truck platform can deliver such a nice smooth ride...

All those years when I saw other people driving these things I never imagined that they were this refined...I just assumed they would be a rough driving SUV....

I would also add this...I have test driven both this truck and the GX470 enroute to making a decision about what we were going to buy. In my opinion the GX is no quieter inside than the 4Runner...despite all these claims that it has more sound insulation and thicker laminated glass etc....I think it is hogwash....I personally do not perceive any difference in this regard...

Perhaps the GX has a smoother ride given its adaptive suspension, but I would need more time in the vehicle in order to be able to say definitely that it makes that much of a difference, if any...

Blame the regional distributor for that. They decide on the option combinations that are available. If you can find a dealer willing to special order a vehicle, then you can get exactly what you want.

Not that this really helps you much, but for whatever the reason this option is standard on every Limited sold in Canada...weird how they decide these things...
