Thanks in advance for any help.
I recently bought an '88 4runner 22re. Absolutely love it, but am having an issue with cold start. Searched the forums and it sounds like it could be the cold start injector? But wanted to explain the situation:
Warm idle is good at 750, but on cold start (temp. around 20F) I have to keep my foot on gas for a few minutes or else idle drops to about 500rpm and wants to stall out.
If I keep my foot on gas for a couple minutes, the idle hits about 550rpm and keeps itself going. Rig drives just fine and I have no issues with idle after the first few minutes.
Any ideas about how I can fix?
