Low idle with lights/fan on

When I turn the lights on the rpms drop 100 or so at idle, not a real big deal. But if I have lights and the fan on at the same time, the rpms drop 2-300 rpms and the motor struggles to run. Is my alternator crapping out and not putting out enough juice? Something else?

i have the same issue 90 3.0 idles great when nothing on turn on ac and it struggles to run,i have replaced the alternator (i thought it might be weak) and still does it. i have been trying to figure it out for months good luck

That may be your a/c compressor. When you turn on your A/C it engages the magnetic clutch inside the compressor. If your A/C compressor is locking up... it will cause that.
