Low mileage vs. newer model year

Was forced to pass on the '07. The owner was put into a tough spot, had an air transfer pump(?) that needed replacing and was told it was a $2k job (dealership and 2nd opinion). They didn't want to sell it as is (good on them), so the deal just bogged down.

But, not to fear. We did buy this beauty:

Not sure of the brand, but it's just a spacer lift as far as I can see.

Thanks. My wife and I weren't initially fond of the color, we were looking more for blue/black/silver. But I really like the Driftwood and black combo.

Doesn't the VVT-i come with it's own set of maintenance issues too?

It does not. The entire system consists of 2 electrically actuated oil pressure valves and different camshafts.

Some how I thought this was new. It was on top of the list on the 4th gen section. I don't know how that happened since all the posts infront of my were from 2014.
