Low pass filter - Rev or Norm?

I am setting up the audio settings on my new stereo, and had to assign values to the Low Pass Filter. This is the first stereo i've had with more than treble and bass or hi, low, mid and sub settings. I have the LPF set at 100 and the sub sounds pretty good. The next item in the menu is whether to set the LPF at normal or reverse. What is the difference, what does it do if i set it to reverse, and what will i notice the most in my music?

Reverse and normal have to do with how the sub is mounted in the box. Leave that setting on normal unless your speaker is mounted inside out.

I was playing with the settings and it sounds much better in reverse mode. Will it hurt the sub if I leave it reversed?

No it is fine to leave it on reverse...
