Low Range Offroad Shipping

Has anyone else had issues with them and having parts drop shipped from other companies? I ordered my OME rear springs, u-bolt kits, bushing kits, DT shocks, and some other bushings. After two weeks I finally got my shocks and shackle bushings, but no shipping info on anything else. After calling Low Range several times over the past 3 days and them telling me that they had no info from ARB USA on the status of the rest of my parts, today they tell me that some of them will be shipping from the very city I live in, while other parts have not shipped from WA yet either and it may be a few more weeks yet due to the holidays. My truck that I drive everyday has cracked leaf springs and the packs are coming apart and shifting, hence ordering new leafs and associated parts from OME back when I first noticed this. Im more than a little unhappy about the time it has taken and the lack of communication, so I asked Low Range if they could direct ARB to bump me to expedited shipping. They said they would see what they could do. Long story short, anyone else had this kind of issue with them?

I have used Low Range Off-Road several times over the years. Never had any issues with shipping.

But I will say ARB can be a little quirky with avalibity vs shipping. My last ARB purchase from another retailer was a hassle. ARB didn't really communicate shipping status to the retailer till it actually shipped. They were just as frustrated as I was.

I've had lots of trouble with Low Range. I live 45 minutes from them and I've gone so far as to drive down and stand at their counter to order parts, and they still can't get my orders right.

Low Range went from a small and flexible offroad vendor to a huge international drop-shipper way too fast. They don't have a good inventory system, they don't have good communication between their various departments, the stuff they fab in-house is sloppy and poorly made, and on top of that they charge way too much for shipping. I'm pretty much done shopping with them.

I think I am too after this. Turns out the Doetsch Tech shocks I ordered for a Toyota 4runner have the wrong size bushings in them. Either that or its an incredibly tight fit onto the mounts. I only ordered from them again because they had everything I needed in their site, didn't know it was the same as ordering from the manufacturer but with poor communication. Im sure if I had dealt with ARB directly this wouldn't have been such an issue. Im starting to wonder if Low Range "forgot" to send ARB my order, hence parts not shipping out until today after calling them for 3 days in a row looking for a status. 2 weeks after I made the order in the first place. I don't even feel like dealing with them to try and resolve the issue with the shocks since they just sent an order to DT for the shocks. I may just drill the bushings a touch to get them on the mounts easier.

I've also had problems with them. I needed a new shock after one blew and I called to make sure they had one in stock so I could get it fast. They said they did so I ordered it. Three weeks later I still hadn't received it and no updates from them and I was still driving on just a spring. I called and they told me they never had any in stock and my order was back ordered without an expected ship date. I cancelled the order, and then it still took another three weeks and 3 phone calls to get a refund. I won't do business with them again.

First time, just a few weeks ago, I ordered some goods for the E-locker conversion.

Needed the stuff by Christmas and was sure giving myself plenty of time ordering 2+ weeks in advance.

Thought it was weird I never received an order confirmation e-mail or tracking after about a week so I called.

They told me items (111mm studs and the decal) in my order were back-ordered... News to me!!!

So I told them to box up what they did have and get it shipped out ASAP.

Still took them 2 days to get me tracking and I had to go to the dealer for the studs. UGhhhhh

Man I only ordered from them because they had Old Man Emu parts ala cart. Every other place only has full lift kits and Im doing Blazeland in the front. Never again.

I ordered an ARB awning from them. The lead time was several weeks, but it ended up getting here in under a week. I was impressed and had no issues with them. I hate to hear you guys had not so good experiences with them.

I agree with Kevin, I live 10 minutes away. Inventory system is not in check, but they are dope guys and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Like I said though, I wouldn't be so upset if my truck didn't have broken leaf springs and the individual springs are shifting. I drive this truck every day and I ordered springs as soon as I noticed the problem on my post wheeling checkup. Its coming on 3 weeks since I ordered them and they still have no shipping timeframe for me.

Well it appears it is definitely hit or miss. That is too bad.

Junkyard biker - if they haven't charged you how about ordering direct from ARB and going to the ARB shipping depot in Jscksonville?

I have had no problem with Low Range. I have however never had them ship anything to me because I work 30 seconds away from them, HAHA TheArkMaster, I got you beat. I'm closer!!! I would and will buy from them again.
