Lower Ball Joints

I saw a couple of threads on here about the lower ball joints but no real answers. I was wondering if the ball joint itself was replaceable instead of replacing the entire arm. I can not seem to find the ball joint by itself or aftermarket lower control arms for that matter.

Dont really feel like spending $500++ for OEM arms if there are aftermarket lower control arms out there.

Any help is appreciated guys. My lower ball joints are leaking on both sides.

Also, my drivers side CV boot is also leaking, any suggestions on prolonging the lift of it? Already replaced the passenger side, just too much to do right now, rather take care of the ball joint issue if the cv boot can be prolonged a little bit. Only minor leakage.

The upper ball-joints are a b*tc* to find/fix. The lowers are easy to get. I just looked at RockAuto.com and saw lower ball-joints from Moog for $3x.xx each.

how hard are the lower ball joints? do they come out of the lca easily??

Shane, just found the directions on how to do it in the FSM. Doesn't look bad.
