Lower control arm install question - Alignment in 10 hours...

Currently installing a new set of MOOG lower control arms with northstar caster/camber bolts, with an alignment scheduled in 10h and big trip this weekend.

The sleeves on the LCA seem extremely sloppy to me. Does anyone know if this amount of space between the bolt sleeve and LCA is normal?

MOOG arms are RK623321 / RK623322 and northstar caster/camber bolt kit is 44-828

Other side of the LCA fits fine without the bolt sleeve.

I don't think there should be much if any play on those alignment parts, or it makes it impossible to do accurate adjustments that stay. Should have gone with OEM as moog is known for lower quality parts.

What you show is definitely not normal, why you should use OEM alignment hardware.

Can you elaborate? I've never had or heard of an issue with Moog parts. Fitment or getting the right parts looked up in the catalog could be an issue.

Bushings on them do not seem to last as long and long term durability and quality seems to be an issue often.

I have bought some parts for other cars and they worked ok but bushings did not last long. on the 4runner I bought replacement rear endlinks and within 3 months the ball joints on them were creaking bad and the rods were covered in rust. Went right into the trash. put OEM back on and they lasted fine until i replaced them with skyjacker endlinks.

They are not total trash, just not as good as OEM. They get the job done - but for how long is the question.
