Lower Rear Shock Washer

Okay, over the summer I cut out my old worn out suspension and replaced with an OME kit. The other day I heard a strange grinding sound coming from the rear end. Come to find out my shock had gotten into the rim. In my hurry to get my beast back on the road I guess I forgot to torque the bottom shock bolt and it had backed out. The rubber bushing was still on the shock but the bolt and washer were gone. I was able to find a M12X1.25 and shim it because it was too long while the correct part was ordered. So I thought. The parts were received today, the bolt was correct, but the washer to retain the rubber bushing was way to small. There are one of these on each side of the shock. Does anyone know the part number for the large cupped washer or were I could find one. I would greatly appreciate any help or if someone has one lying around I would be interested in it.

The washer I was told that I needed and that toyotapartszone.com sent was #94622-31200. When I called the dingleberry I spoke with started babbling about their return policy. Well, since he did not know the correct part # I was scared to order another. For the bolt and wrong washer was $2.29. Its cost $8.90 shipping. Since I'm not going to pay that kind of shipping again I guess I'll have to wait until I need more parts. Thanks for the part number.

I get that kind of little thing at my dealer. Same counter guy going back to my 1980 Corolla (bought new). Shipping costs eat up the difference. I order on-line, they call me with a quote, and they have it the next day or the day after. I like their parts desk, hate their service.

Did you give toyotapartszone your VIN? The numbers I gave you are good for my '99, as I don't think there were any changes mid-gen on the shock mounts. I don't get the 2001-2007 on that listing.

The description sounds right on this though. I see where somone may have gotten confused. It is the large washer that holds the bottom of the shock on the rear axle. So you say what I need is part # 90948-03011

I am suggesting that is the number for for that part on MY '99. I don't have your VIN to plug in. I honestly don't understand what I see for the part number you had that is listed for 2001-2007 when our 3G's went from '96-'02.

For a cheapo part when you don't need anything else and there is confusion as to the right number, it really would be best to go to a dealer, plug in your VIN and point to what you want on the screen. You may have to wait a day or two, but there's no shipping and if it's wrong when it shows up it's their problem--unless you are really far from a dealer.
