at least it looks like it started its life as a 2wd Tacoma.

So I guess it would alright to put a 4Runner body on a Tacoma.

it started life as a 95 4runner i beleave then got stock floor body dropped and had a front end conversion. it was in mini truckin some time last year.

i love the look of it. not all 4runners were ment to be lifted and mudded.

Most definitely, that dude did most of the work himself if i remember correctly. Hah, talk about fabrication to the max... And the rear suspension is far from "all show."

It hurts my eyes...

Agreed. Apparently not very many people like it since it's 83-9 for the voting.

Personally I like trucks that can make it over speed bumps and pot holes, but to each his own. :D

its funny how people stereotype everything they dont like.......just because its lowered it automatically is "mexican or ghetto" probably the same way someone who isnt into customizing may look at your lifted trucks and scream redneck or hillbilly....i understand some people arent for lowered rides....i myself cant stand imports or ricers....but thats my opinion...i like em lifted and lowered however i am building a 03 4runner with a full stock floored frame t-bird irs and a lot more.....sh*t th work i will be putting into mine is probably 10 times more than alot of people on this site will ever put into one ride.....but that dosent mean your lifted rides wont be a reflection of what you want in a car.....minitrucks arent meant to be functional as much as they are to be showed and cruised in.....we dont wanna go muddin or trail ridin....thats why a lot of have lifted daily drivers or tow pigs to have fun in....dont judge someone on there ride.....as for that 4runner it a guy named Barry...he lives in GA and built it almost entirely himself....it has a 2wd taco front clip and an IRS out of a supra......it has won many awards and has been featured several times.....as i have said there is more time and money in that truck than a lot of you would ever think about putting into a vehicle....dont hate on him for his idea of custom but you cant do anything but respect the dedication and time someone put into there ride to have something original and not the norm......custom dosent necessarily bolt on....words to customize by

well speaking personally there is something to appreciate in most everything. a few exceptions.

I dig the colors.

it was also 2 wheel drive so might as well bag it.

bagging a 4runner is nothing like lifting one where u just open a catalog and order parts for it. you have to fabricate every thing. his truck is prolly worth alot more then any ones on here.

Just do it tastefully

I think it's ok to drop or lift a truck. But, you have to be careful that what your doing is both funtional and tasteful. Sometime it just seems that people will lower or lift something because it the thing to do...I lifted my 4R because I have the 4w and I like going places that other people can't go, plus living in washington you run into dirt roads and I've high centered myself a few times on uneven VW (lowered...yes). but if you live in a parking lot paradise drop it down low...but watch the speed bumps.

I like the best of both worlds my Maxima is lowered 2.5" and my T4R is "lifted" 1" by the 20" tire/rim combo over stock

Just knowing that people "hate" lowered vehicles so much makes me like it even more ;): Always has!

Seriously, the way people put down on others for being "different" is really telling about your own personal flaws. You shouldn't even be calling yourself an American if in fact you are one.

Tsk Tsk!
:)

If I were sentenced to death, I would request to be suffocated in that! :D

Oh yea, the lowered truck... I personally think it looks like crap but that's just me. If that's your thing then more power to ya, I bet it gets good gas mileage! :D

I'm with rolling thunder Igot both acura street tuner and the 4x4 runner try auto crossing your runner wait no don't try it bad idea and hey same guy put a lot of hard work into that bagged wagon it's not like he went to schuks and bought out the novelty aisle that is f@&kin ghetto puttin spinner hub caps on your P.O.S. ain't pimping. look what if he put a kelderman air lift on would it be ok then I bet he loves his 4 runner and I bet it's practical for pounding pavement in the streets where ever he's from if low riding ain't your scene then hey more trails and camping spots for you.

We all have one thing in common we love our cars, suv, lifted compact or whatever
