Lowering Driver's Chair Height

Hey fellas quick question.

I recently bought a heated seat cushion for my vehicle so I don't freeze in the winter. It works really well but now I sit up about an inch or so higher, and well, my head is almost touching the ceiling (I have a sunroof) and I can't quite get comfortable.

Is there anyway to lower the driver's seat?

What kinds of tools what I need for a job like this? And what would be the best way?

I have a '97 4runner.

FUBAR! I dunno know man, maybe messing with the mounts underneath?? That's what I would say, you just may, what the hay?....

There's nothing easy to do to lower the seat.

Raising it is easy, but that doesn't help you.
