LP Light cover removal - HELP NEEDED

So I have wanted to change my license plate light bulbs to LED for a while now and my screws are rusted to hell. I have also tried drilling them out with no luck. Is there a way to drop the covers out and possibly put new ones in? What bolts hold them in underneath the hatch panel?

Next time be sure to use a JIS Phillips screwdriver on Toyota screws (especially the MAF). SAE Phillips drivers will strip them every time.

As to your question, sorry, I have no idea as I got my rusted screws out.

I've often wondered if there was more than one type of Phillips screwdriver head. Now I know.

I never stripped the screws. The head of the screws are warped with rust. A screwdriver isn't going to get them out.
