I sold my bike the beginning of this season for I have now got a kid and I hardly rode it. So to think I am spending all that money on taxes and insurance on something I don't ride that much I decided to sell it. Now Harley, well it's a nice bike and all but lets be honest, it's not as reliable as a foreign bike (Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, etc...) and the amount of money I would be spending on the Harley I liked, I can get a Honda cruiser for at least if not more 7k less than what it would cost me to get a Harley. Also, lets just say for arguments sake I can get the Harley I want for 20k: why would I spend 20k for a bike that I would hardly ride when I can spend 20k on a pickup truck, get rid of the trailer, and ride the truck in any weather and anwhere?

Don't get me wrong, I love bikes and all, but my attitude if you don't ride it all the time, and have taxes to pay for stuff you own like I do in CT, then you are really waisting money.
One last thing, I had the most success using Bargain News and Ebay when it came to selling my bike. But you might want to wait about a month before the season starts. Goodluck!
