lube suspension?

Ok guys don't flame me please. I have been looking all under my 2007 Sport 4WD 4runner for the grease points for the front suspension and can't find one Zirk fitting. The reason want to lube up the front end is I have a really nasty sounding creek when hit bumps while making really sharp turns. The only grease points I have found are the ones for the drive shaft.

KIDDING! You're correct, 6 fitting total for F & R driveshaft, no fittings on the front suspension. Cut the steering all the way, shut it off and look at the linkage. You'll see the contact point that is the "stop". A touch of grease there and then in the same place but other side and you should be good to go That's probably what's making your squeak.

I went out and took a look under my truck. I took a picture of my front end driver side circled where I just put some grease. Is this the right spot? If not can you please let me know where the right spot is. Under full turn the 2 areas I greased do not touch but I did see what looked to be wear marks.

Ok now its time to make some really hard u turns with bumps to see it this stopped the creeking.. Thanks for the help...

I'm pretty sure yours is the same as the pic minus the CV shaft.

There are no grease certs anywhere in the driveline or front suspension on my 2wd 08 4Runner...
...Also no way of checking the transmission fluid on my 08 4Runner.

You're right about the driveline. I wasn't thinking about that... :bash: Sometimes I am not the sharpest tool in the shed.


I was thinking about the steering stops, I think your 2wd has the same setup that requires an occasional dab of grease.
