Myth of saving a few bucks on oil and filter vs a gunked up engine. I'll stick to my dipstick observations and regular 3-5k oil changes.

I think its a great idea. assuming it actually WORKS as designed.

our oil, and engine technology has advanced MASSIVELY, to think we still need to use the same OCI is asinine.

Yeah that was my initial thought; it could easily be just another performance product scam that does nothing it advertises, to the detriment of the owner and car. But back when I used the Amsoil guys, talking with them enlightened me quite a bit using the full synth- I change every 10k or so, and the oil always looks to be in great shape. Of course, mines a V6, so that plays a part too.
