Lug nuts

So Im getting ready to put some rubber on my 2002 Sequoia split 5 rims, going with a 265-70R17 size tire. Possibly BFG rugged terrains. My question is what lug nuts am I going to need? Trying to figure out between the stock wheels and the Sequoia wheels if they are hub centric or lug centric, Ive seen one 4runner on here with these wheels and it looks amazing. My runner came with the set of wheels laying in the back when I got it, and the PO said something about the lugs for them were holding on the stock wheels but I am missing two lugs and they are all mismatched.

The newer trucks are all hubcentric.....means the wheel centers itself by the hub. Us older trucks are all lugcentric.....the curved backside of the lugs center the wheel. You need to use lugcentric lugs on those vehicles no matter the wheel. If both lugs are curved on the back, then used whichever ones you want.

So I need to use acorn style nuts on the newer hubcentric type wheels? OEM '02 sequoia wheels use the "mag" style lugs from what I have found. Its just confusing lol.

Yes, the acorn style. The curved portion centers each hole of the wheel directly over each lug..... hence lug centric.
