Luggage Rack Bolt Covers

Has anyone had a problem with the cover for the bolts on the roof rack falling off? I have an 07 that the cover was missing when I bought it. They replaced it on delivery and it fell off again after 10 months and 12k miles.

They have to tape mine down (drivers side rear) at the car wash or it blows off in the dryer.

A branch fell and broke one of mine in our driveway. Stealer wanted like $80 for a new one, so I glued it back together. Then I knocked one off at the manual car wash and glued it back together again. Serious design flaw and ripoff to replace.

I do not go through automatic car washes since I keep my vehicles for a long time and those car washes destroy paint.
