Lumbar Support Modification?

I am fairly sure at one point, some where on this forum, I read where someone had done some sort of modification to the 4r's lumbar support, so that the lumbar support actually supported the lumbar region, not the tail bone.

If I recall it was BlackWorks, but I could be wrong.

My issue is that where I get the seat back at an angle that doesn't cause my head to rub or hit the ceiling, the seat itself basically has an inverted spinal support; that is, it seems to make my back round itself, thus making it difficult to sit with correct spinal posture. I think if I could get the lumbar support higher up in my seat, this would alleviate some of those issues. Unfortunately since I'll be moving across the midwest in two days, I don't really have time to take out my seat and 'monkey around' with it.
I may however, remove the seat and install some washers under the front to angle up the seat a touch in the front, but that may be counter-productive, and put my head closer to the ceiling.

TIA!
