M Plate Sightings Near Toyota Motor North America

Now that we are living north of Dallas, Texas, after moving the hell out of New Jersey, I have driven by the US headquarters of Toyota several times. It's pretty impressive.

While we were driving to Costco in McKinney I saw on 380 an M plated Sequoia a few weeks ago. It had the emblems taped off. They did a good job on it. It looks a lot like a Highlander but better. I was impressed.

Ill keep my eyes open for some SUV's in camo when we are driving. If I see anything Ill ry to take some shots and post them. I might even drive by the HQ a few times a month and see what I can see when the weather gets cooler. They should have some 4Runner mules around soon and someone will be careless and leave one out just like they always did at Ford and GM. lol.

Wonder why the emblems would be taped off on a vehicle like the Sequoia that the public has seen for months and are already available at dealers.

Also, kudos for getting out of NJ, especially the cost of Bergen County.

Yes it’s the plate for vehicles owned by the manufacturer

It did not say Sequoia on it however it had a reasonable resemblance to the new one except it had more trim and chrome bits.

I moved to the area myself five years ago, I've never seen one Toyota test vehicle when driving around. My son-in-law is a tech at a local Toyota dealer and he has not heard one word about the new 4Runner.

Toyota is way tighter lipped then then many of the other manufactures. I wonder if they are testing out in Argyle, by Denton, at the Toyota retreat and track.
